A little bit of this, a little bit of that

Out with the old In with the new.

A new month a new day and I can definatly notice as the days go by and age dawns on me and before you say anything - I know I havent hit menopause yet but I am getting to that point when I try to hold on the dawn hoping that a new day doesn’t sneek in and take over my present. Atlease not at the moment for my emotion, thought and being have acquired nothing tangible only mistakes that I have made, relationships that I regret and hope of lessons learnt.

Oh yeah I forget I am back on facebook but now I gave up my obsessive ways and I am just a casual/social facebooker..

David Kato (RIP)

Front page news - and I personally do believe he was worthy to be on the front page and not a on page 10 in 20 sentences or in ‘the other news of the world’. May his Soul rest in peace.
To the preacher at the funeral - I believe that the Good book clearly says that all sin is the same, and it makes me wonder would he have said the same for a murderer’s burial or a rapist funeral?
Life is short and if you spend it hating on others or even on me for these few sentences shame on you because you have just made yours even shorter. My opinion is this what someone chooses to do in the privacy of their own home is non of your business - stop hating because if it is not in your face you have no worthy causes for all we know cheating on your partner, taking or giving a bribe, dishonesty, if loving fellow man is sin then all the above lay in the same category.

Fresher’s Week;

Work does a graduate programme every other year I would say. To my shock there is a Ugandan on my team and then the after the introduction meeting my former manager went spreading rumours that I had a crush on the dude and for the string of men and women I have been in a ‘a relationship with at work’ according to rumours spread my former manager I think I would make a mini united nations. Soon and very soon I think his going to marry me off.

Food for thought.

People in glass houses should not throw stone.

‘Let he without sin, cast the first stone’ John 8:7

Have you read the story of Lazarus and the rich man? Important lessons there.

I can only feel sadness for Kato because his destination is worrying. Makes you wonder, what are you willing to die for? And is it relevant to the Creator or is it a feel good humanistic ploy?

Preaching repentance is not wrong, the preacher was not hating on anyone. If there were no preachers, we would all be lost. So I do not regret that he preached repentance.

Personally, praying at burials for people who I know are lost is unnecessary because it cannot change a thing, however we are told to mourn with those who mourn.

As I like to say, when the rain is falling, get wet. However, God's grace is limited. It will not go beyond the grave. So this is the time to get wet. After all [
Rom 2:4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?]

We do not discriminate when it comes to sin. At least God doesn't. So watching porn is the same as adultery as it is homosexuality. [1 Tim 1:9-10 ]

Whooah! Sorry for this long comment but hey always want to say let's not take sides of the truth as a whole truth. Needs to be wholesome.

Sorry about Kato, sadly I do not see how RIP helps.

Love builds up, knowledge puffs up. There is no law against God's love.

just about the preacher at Kato's funeral. watch th video babes he said nothing condemning like youre going to hell or anything. He taught from the word about all of us being human , sinning and that it was a chance for the other gay guys to come to God. He went on maybe for too long but his message was not judgmental at all. And of course what do you expect to hear from a pastor, the word according to the bible. Also sin is sin whether done in public or not. Too bad for David.RIP

@Nevender.. from what i heard i was hating..
I am not a fan of praying for the dead either. I do not believe that can justify someone after they pass away but burials are for comforting not pointing fingers from experience

RIP is a polite thing to say when someone passes on. Just like saying nga kitalo...and you reply kitalo.

@Mbabazi ..honestly i did not hear the preacher ..i heard it from a third party maybe i should hear it for my self.

@nomzo.. ..

In all honesty the pastor was teaching from the doctrines in which he believes are correct and right. I personally don't know Kato's destiny after this life but what I don't like is the hatred for people who are not like the normal people.
The pastor's sermon though should have focused on probably the teachings (clear and concrete teachings) in the Bible that clearly indicate the evil in homosexuality. Preaching repentance with "speculation" and the usual "cliche's" cannot even make someone believe in something. The pastor should have preached like he was talking to non-believers and not to people who he thought shared

Speaking of freshers week, make sure before he marrys you off, I be in the church.
