A time for everything

When my lungs come to rest
and I've thought my last thought
and I've pennies for specs
and my vive has turned mort...

When I've kicked at the bucket
and shaken a seven
and bench-pressed some daisies
and tried to make heaven...

When my boot soles stop wearing
and Reaper's close by
and a grey undertaker
packs me up for the ride...

When I'm fast losing weight
and fluids and skin
and achieving my goal
of becoming quite thin...

When I'm subterranean
sleeping with worms
and no longer fearful
of picking up germs...

Remember me, remember me
but not as an idiot.
~Stephen Cree~

This month, a friend - 25 passed on in his sleep, Diana lost her mother - 55 to Cancer, Gloria lost her sister - 26 who didn’t realised that when she said, ‘till death do us part’ it meant two weeks down the line.

If today was your last, what would you hope would be said as you were lowered six feet under? For me;
Ugandan girl - a loyal friend, a sweet daughter, a great aunt, a wife of noble character, a loving mother and above all a woman after God’s own heart.

Food for thought:
“Those we love don’t go away,
They walk besides us everyday
Unseen, unheard but always near
Still loved, still missed, still very dear “

i was thinkin about this the other day and i couldn't help realise that nice things are always said wen people die....but why wait till they're gone for us to sing their praises why can't we pay tribute to them on their birthdays or on a mon or when u see them next....or in a postcard.

i know what i would wat to be said about me....but i don't know wat other people would say we touch people differently. I would like to know if i was a blessing to someone.

that is sad...

not sure what exactly but would like to be known for good things only :)

although as apr9 said, it would be great for us to appreciate the people in our lives now.

thing i have decided to do is live eery day as though it is my last. i thought the other day when frowb when we see someone with HIV and think oh their death is but near...not knowing that ours might be nearer...as we could be hit by a bus on our way to work..or sleep and never wake...
life is short ..lets live our life wisely.
